even though I haven't played it yet...

You're Yuna. You're hardworking and honest, and also a little naive. You can easily be lied to, but in the end your friends will look out for you. Kind and loving you'd never hurt a fly. You'd be willing to do anything to help others, even if it means some personal sacrafices for you.
Which Final Fantasy X Character would YOU be? Take thetest.

OH BABY! totally legit, just for my bro and cousin to ponder over! -- so VERY Perfect!--

M * A * S * H

You will marry LEGOLAS from Lord of the Rings, live in an ancient elven palace in the middle of the forest, and spend your days walking on top of snow and rowing ivory boats and just being beautiful.

What's YOUR M * A * S * H future?

but on a funnier and therefore lighter note....

only in college will your professor walk into a classroom and tell all the students that he didn't want to get out of bed that morning because he had really scary nightmares that night before. (TRUE!!!)- My prof told us that on thursday

plus... beware of standing next to Minh in a dark room. (*smiles* Hi Papa!)

Sorry that everything has been so depressing lately,
life just kinda kicks you around sometimes.

but like I say many times, and get many strange looks for it... "water off a ducks back"
which is taken from the quote "let it roll off like water off a duck's back"
so all the problems and stresses that have been going on, just let them pass you by. Don't overstress and don't take things too seriously. Learn and grow right?

so I'm okay, to anyone who is worried. I thank you for your concern.

I'm not going anywhere. yet.

A gentle spirit can be as destructive as a harsh one. For a big heart when denied love suffers more then any other type, it feels more pain. Those people who are innocent, who give love completely, and are merciful have no immunity or understanding of hate, jealousy, or malevolence. So it is gamble as to whether or not those who refuse to harden themselves against the world survive or are trampled. A heart of gold runs the risk of being taken.

ever feel like crying, and you don't know why?

ever feel like dying, when you can't see the sky?

i don't know. what can I say, but I just don't know. Problems swirl around me, and I can't bring myself to care. I find myself residing in apathy, like everything I see is futile. Others seek me out for advice, but its normally just to complain or try to convince me to their views, and its weird because it comes from ALL sides. In austrailia and still at home, people are very impassioned about their views, and although they are correct in thier own right, but often times very stubborn. all I do now is sit back and listen. I don't know if its becuase I don't want to get myself worked up into a frenzy or if I just don't care.

and that scares me, not to care. To be so jaded that I have no hope. I know what that feels like, or more correctly doesn't feel like, and it becomes a very lonely place to be. No pain, but no love. No sadness but no joy.

but I need to find hope... for without hope, you lose all, and you lose yourself

but what do you do when the people you turn to aren't there? when they have other things to do? when they have their own views to attempt to influence you? When the people who help you from becoming jaded have become jaded themselves?

I know that many probably expected me to blog about winter retreat or austrailia but

sorry to come back with a downer- but here it is (see above)

G'day mates!
Yep, still in Australia, in another internet cafe checking my email, my teachers haven't e-mailed me one way or another about whether or not I am still in my classes, but it is gonna suck to have to go back to school the day after I get back. Oh well. I'm in Sydney right now, wen't to the Olympic village and ran through the fountain, got in a little bit of trouble for it, but its all good. I'm just really tired right now, so I'm not gonna stay for long, this is probably costing some bit of money. So see you all soon

PS
I didn't see any updates in my GB, so I'm gonna get you... AIRLINE SUGAR! =)

WOW 2,000 hits!

Hello from the land down under
currently I am in Cairnes (pronounced canes), in the northern part of Austrailia, where it is about 90 degrees outside. Sitting in the internet lounge (I swear I never thought I would use one of these) of the hotel. After long flights to get here... 14+ hours from LAX to Syndey, then from Sydney to Brisbane, then from Brisbane to Cairnes. But the trip is proving to be better than I thought it would be-- time zones are trippy (its 6pm Sunday over here while its something like 1am yesterday in California). I am missing my family A LOT, but I am amazed about the stuff that I see here.

Ok, so I came here for an environmental mission... whats that? A theatre and english major in the environment, but hey! how many times will I get a chance to go to Austrailia. So I came. Yesterday we went to the Great Barrier Reef, where I got to go scuba diving for the first time, and see fish come up next to me that were like almost bigger than me. YEAH, kinda freaky. But really cool at the same time. Today I went to the rainforest, rode in an Old WWII army duck, took a picture holding a koala, petting a kangaroo, and the feeding of a crocodile (so VERY VERY scary) those things are massive!

Saw a sign that showed an Aged People crossing

The legal drinking age here is 18, so I got to buy alcohol for people... any suggestions?

Got to throw a spear --which I was actually really good at (must be all the dancing)--- and a boomerang at the aboringinal village

but what is the best way to describe Austrailia?

I have to say, a really high, real Adventureland (i.e. Disneyland). I kid you not. Riding the Army Ducks was like a mix of Jungle cruise and Indiana Jones, We went on the sky rail- 'cept they took the one at Disneyland out.I went in a submersible that was like the submarine ride at disneyland. We even had a really long slow train ride that was like that one that goes all around the park. I am taking bunch of pictures for everyone to see. And we are heading off to Sydney tomorrow.

I do really miss home though. Not that the people here are bad or anything, its just hard to connect sometimes. It sometimes feels like everyone is so different. (For example: by sheer force of habit, when we walked into a theatre I reached into my bag as if to turn off my cell phone, and they all looked at me strangly, obvious to me that they didn't have phones of their own) but its all good. Just lonely at points. Like my Dad is here, not that I don't want him here, but I need space. But I feel bad when I go off on my own to hang with people, but they I don't want to leave him all alone. Oh well, this time next week I'll be on another plane home. And then back to Davis.

I love u guys!!

--- time is winding down and I'm running out of money, but since re-blogger is shot, any requests from gifts (NO, I cannot fit a koala into my bag, and no, I can't bring home hot guys (but I might try!)) or well wishes, just sign my guestbook, I'll try and check it often! BYE BYE
