9 = 4(2) + 1

Ever feel alone even though you were surronded by people? Even if you know that the majority of the people around you love and care for you? I don't want to seem bitter or bitchy , but I was just feeling... lonely i guess.
My life is settling back into the mild storm it always is, away from the hurricanes it has been for the past month or so. Once home it was decided that we would have another "cousin dinner" because Tony was back from Vegas for a few days. We went to Hooters and then Disneyland after, and while the whole experience was great, everyone couldn't help but notice the way we ended up being split up. Mila and Chan, Rozelle and Tony, Alfred and Brenda, Ray and Karen, and me. 4 couples, and the spare. Like a car, you need 4 tires to run, so I'm the one locked in the bottom of the trunk.
Ok, don't want to go any further with that. Its not that I'm feeling sorry for myself, because I think I'm generally content with who I am right now. But I just hate that awkward feeling. The one you get when everyone is paired up for the Materhorn and you have to ride by yourself. I just look around and see almost everyone in my family who has someone, sometimes far away from each other, but still they have someone just for them.
Something inside me tells me that I just have to wait, be patient, becuase something big is going to happen. But maybe I'm just kidding myself. I just don't really want to be left off the ark when the next floods come.

"What incensed him the most was a blatant jokes of the ones who all pasted as a jest, pretending to know everything, and in reality, not even knowing their own minds"
