HEY THERE BUDDY BEAR!

sorry for the severe lack of updates
but here you go

still haven't been doing much. been hanging out with my family, reading alot, writing a bit (umm... something different), taking care of the doggie (finally came home today) and just chillin' alot.

but here's a series of stuff that I have been thinking of.

I normally don't title my blog entries, but since I don't feel like posting a bunch of one-liners, here you go. (PS... remember... I LOVE comments... and lookie... a little comment system is at the bottom)

pic of the pet hospital wall
Okay, so if you read Ray's blog a little while ago, he commented on a pic of a little girl and a cat with the caption "pussy picture"
so as if this didn't insinuate enough about the place... in the other bathroom there is a pic of a little girl checking the pulse of a dog... aww, sweet right. Until you realize that she is standing on a FUR RUG! *sigh* sumthing messed up there

dog clothes
So walking through petsmart the other day, my bro and I suddenly came upon a whole aisle of pet clothes. from "sassy dresses" to doggie bathrobes. Are there dog fashion designers? like what would look good this season on a chow chow--- but would that look also fit for a beagle? dilemmas....

Church on Sundays
This is actually in response to the sermon at mass last sunday, but still works. Now I don't know about most of you, but for me, since the day I was born, every sunday has been set. You gotta go to church. you go thorugh the motions and listen to the priest, and leave and get some doughnuts. But this one particular sunday the priest at me church seemed to go on a tirade. It seemed like he had a list of everything that he felt was wrong in the world and made it known to us.
First he said that people today have no real image of evil. That the devil is just something to tell to children so that they don't misbehave. So I was thinking... i don't think that people don't believe that there is evil in the world, or one single metaphysical force known as the devil. Its just that the image of a man in a tuxedo with a red cape and horns has become a little antiquated and weak, the symbols change, but not the ideas behind it.
he then brought in Roe vs. Wade. 1) first- aren't you not supposed to bring politics into religion... I know that the line is never quite clear but bringing it up in the mass is very much crossing the line. 2) he was putting his own spin on the judgement he kept repeating "not only did they determine that a woman had a right to choose, but that abortion was also good."
umm.... okay man. The judgement never says that is was good, but that it was the right for the people to choose.
whatever... from this sermon, I remembered one from a while back where he kept bringing up readings where women should be subserviant to men... so from this came my new idea

INTERACTIVE CHURCH!!!

church becomes a debate on issues that the world goes through today verses what we have been taught all of our lives...
i think its cool.

how about you?

well its getting a little late, and I only knocked a few off my list of things to blog about... so check back soon!
