Time to update =)
So when I uploaded the new blog template, I wanted to really start posting again, and I fell back into old patterns of just posting quizzes (though fun) not what I wanted for myself.
I thought about posting like I used to post, when my blog became a place to wallow in my own pain, self-doubt, and self-pity. But didn't want that to happen again either.
Then I stumbled upon my friend Theresa's Friendster blog, she's a law student (at UC Davis) but is currently in So cal for the summer and an internship. Theresa and I have been friends since high school (so wow, known each other for about 9 years) and she's an inspiration, though she doesn't know it. She's intelligent, went to Northwestern and now UC Davis law school. But what I really admire most about her is that she ACTUALLY kept in touch with people from high school. Even if it is only once or twice a year, I get a phone call from her.
In seeing her blog, I saw how she was hanging out with her new friends, but also called up and met with Anne, and other people from St. Joe's.
So then, in seeing her blog (I admit to not really reading it, just skimming it) I really wanted to come back here and just start posting again.
But I can't ever escape being me. But I'll try to be a happier.
