crashed into the 80th floor of the North Tower of the World Trade Center
9:03am American Airline flight #77 from Washington (Dulles) to LAX- a 757
carrying 58 passengers; 4 flight attendants; and 2 pilots
crashed into the 60th floor of the South tower of the World Trade Center
targeted to hit the middle edge of the tower- the strategic location to bring the buliding down
9:30am President Bush addresses the Nation from Florida, reporting the "supposed terrorist attack"

9:40am FAA shuts down all US airports and air traffic -- the first time in history that the US skies are
quiet
9:43am A small plane crashes into the helipad of the Pentagon, breeching the five levels of the building
10:05am Subsequent to plane crash and unidentified explosions... the South Tower collapses upon itself
10:10am A Portion of the Pentagon collapses
10:10am United Flight #53 from Newark, NJ to San Francisco crashes in Somerset County,
Pennsylvania, southeast of Pittsburgh. - 42 people on board
10:28am North Tower of the World Trade center collapes from top down "as if it were being peeled apart"
11:59am United Flight # 175 from Boston to LAX crashes with 56 passengers and 9 crew members
